
The three day hackathon marathon successfully started on 17th July 2017. Students from 8 different countries gathered to challenge the inefficiencies of current air travel system by proposing new “micro-feeder” services with hybrid-electric aircraft.
The students were welcomed by Ivo Boscarol, the CEO of Pipistrel. Igor Perkon, the MAHEPA project manager and Tine Tomažič, the head of R&D department at Pipistrel, provide introduction into hackathon activities and encourage students to be innovate and creative.
