On July 29th, 2020 the top 20 students were selected for MAHEPA Autumn School by a committee of experts from Pipistrel Vertical Solutions, Politecnico di Milano and TU Delft. A total of 76 students from 12 different countries, including Canada, Turkey, India and Singapore had applied, bringing together 27 world renowned universities, including Politecnico di Milano, Technical University of Munich, University of Cambridge and Nanyang Technological University.
The MAHEPA Autumn school is a unique opportunity that will enable the project partners to share the project results and encourage further research and development of hybrid-electric aircraft. It will take place in Delft from 9th to 13th November 2020, where students will get a chance to learn about the challenges of greener aviation and try themselves in teamwork based on new technologies developed in the time of the MAHEPA project.
