The project is led by the aircraft manufacturer Pipistrel Vertical Solutions d.o.o. Ajdovščina (Slovenia) in cooperation with Compact Dynamics GmbH (Germany), DLR – German Aerospace Center (Germany), Ulm University (Germany), H2FLY GmbH (Germany), Delft University of Technology (Netherlands), Politecnico di Milano (Italy), University of Maribor (Slovenia).
The MAHEPA partners have many years of experience in aviation and common ambitious vision to develop clean, efficient powertrains as a key enabling technology for future hybrid-electric aviation. This well balanced mix between SMEs and academia, will not only provide a skilled partnership to thoroughly evaluate the two most promising hybrid-electric powertrain technologies but will also identify critical areas for future research, shaping the investments strategy of the aviation industry.
